Also, can we talk about Yankees fans booing Stanton after his 4th and 5th strikeouts? I realize 5Ks is rough, but this was in a game they easily won and Stanton had just had a huge opening day. I've always been an, "Every team has good and bad fans" person, but Yankees fans are literally the worst.

BTW after Cardinals Leone gave up back-to-back homers in the 9th inning, I don't think that their fans are regretting the Holland signing. 

 

Rok, yes, he did put up some terrible numbers in the second half of last season but appears that almost all the damage was confined to the month of August - gave up 14 of his total 2017 19 ERs in the month of August.  He returned to dominating in September with a 114 BAA in 10 games vs 333 in 11 games in August.   Just hope that we see the 2017 August Holland frequently for this season.

It's a hard call.  Small sample size, but thinking of the Cardinals fans I personally know, I don't think any are racist, but of the Yankees fans I know a few are definitely assholes.  Then again, I do hate the Cardinals more, so I'll call it a tie.

Calling them "largely racist" is probably unfair of me. I typically only see the worst of them online (and TBIF Twitter gathers the absolute worst of the worst of them, so it definitely colors my perceptions)...

Today's Mets-Phillies game was only on Facebook Watch.  No TV coverage (local or national).  No MLB.TV.  They are doing like a game per week like that, primarily weekday day games.  Know any team that plays a lot of those?  At least the Cubs aren't on the list of announced games through May.
