While I agree to an extent, I think the twitter folks who are downplaying Ohtani's ST start as irrelevant are probably wrong.  That's not a good sign.

Yeah, my guess is he was overrated. I'm just curious about how top evaluators work, like if they need to see someone in person as opposed to on tape to get a good read? Or is it more that MLB spring training competition is that much better than what's in Japan?

Given he's attached to a QO and no one seems to be clamoring for him, I wouldn't be surprised if Holland is without a job until the draft comes and the compensation pick goes away.
