On one hand, it's easy to see why they would think that reaching the NLDS is not enough, with all of the talent they have. On the other hand, it would be very difficult to get a manager with conditions like that.

Micro-fracture surgery is a bitch. Over a decade ago when I looked into the procedure, outcomes were considered fairly risky. Guessing that the procedure has greatly advanced but still has more risk than standard arthroscopic meniscus removal / repair. A number of athletes have successfully undergone the procedure since I looked into it.


Not certain what Murphy could trade with the devil this time around but someone may want to warn his family members wife about any arrangement that he may be offering.
