Rumor has it he went on a pretty impressive bender which culminated in him calling in sick to work with a "migraine".  However, when you're a super star living in NY, there's bound to be people who notice you out at 3am, smashed the day you're supposed to pitch.

I think my favorite part is that they bumped him from Wednesday to Friday so he wouldn't have to pitch at home.

For long-time followers of Cubs minor leaguers, Austin Bibens-Dirkx made his major league debut for the Rangers tonight.  He was in the Cubs' system from 2009-2011.  He's 32 and is in his 12th season as a professional.

Bummer for the Braves. Freeman has been absolutely crushing it for the last year. It's not like they were winning anything this year, but he's been almost Trout level of good.
