Oh yeah.... And he wound up with 29 eventually. I hope it's the same way with Thames.

Oh, it's all those dollars he had to put in the jar. I'm looking forward to him sucking again.

Thames's story is a lot more eyebrow-raising than Arrieta's. I'm not saying that it proves anything, but it isn't exactly apples to apples.

I mean, does anyone remember the start to Chris Shelton's 2006? No? Then perhaps it's too early to worry about or accuse Thames.

I'm not even remotely worried.

Yeah, I don't think Thames is losing any sleep over what some of us in the dark corners of the web are suspicious about, admittedly without any evidence to point to other than a simple eye test (He is huge now and is hitting like Barry Bonds; before the KBO he was not). I don't understand why it is hypocritical to call for more frequent testing. It isn't a witch hunt. The rules are already in place.

Beyond his beard is he really significantly bigger than THIS (2011 with Toronto)?

Not as dramatic a transformation as some have implied, but he was much less barrel-chested back in Seattle (2010). Always had Popeye-like forearms though.

It's not hypocritical to call for more frequent testing of players in general. It is hypocritical to cast suspicions upon Thames based upon the results he's obtaining while criticizing those who cast suspicions upon Arrieta for the results he obtained (and the inverse is also true as no doubt there were plenty of Brewers fans making accusations about Arrieta).
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

He looks pretty massive in that Blue Jays pic.

Do they test for PEDs in the Korean league he played in? That's the more questionable thing to me. Not that he went from a skinny dude to a big dude, but that he played in Korea, came back to MLB and is now hitting like Ted Williams.
Small sample size and all, and none of it is "evidence." But to say that shouldn't raise any questions at all? C'mon.

Any of the Cardinal FO move to Milwaukee? Cause they sure are getting their fill of Cardinal like schlubs punching way over their weight classes.
