Why even make the move in the first place just to flip one of them? Chapman is obviously the better of the two, but swapping out Jansen and then dealing him doesn't make them that much better. Sounds like Heyman and Rosenthal are just trying to stir up the rumor mill.

I wouldn't mind taking a chance on Kelly and see what Bosio can do to maximize his potential. That said, we probably don't match up with Boston if they want bullpen help.

On MLB radio today they were speculating that LA may acquire Chapman and then flip him or Jansen for a top flight starter.

Why would someone give up a top flight starter for a relief pitcher? Even if it is the toughest one in the game. I don't see it.
