Jansen is no longer the Dodgers' closer. How is this difficult?

I sometimes think about how enjoyable it would be to punch Heyman in the face.

Why even make the move in the first place just to flip one of them? Chapman is obviously the better of the two, but swapping out Jansen and then dealing him doesn't make them that much better. Sounds like Heyman and Rosenthal are just trying to stir up the rumor mill.

I wouldn't mind taking a chance on Kelly and see what Bosio can do to maximize his potential. That said, we probably don't match up with Boston if they want bullpen help.

Saltalamacchia to the Tigers.  Chatter of Votto being available..the thought of him going to STL makes me want to take a dump.

On MLB radio today they were speculating that LA may acquire Chapman and then flip him or Jansen for a top flight starter.

Why would someone give up a top flight starter for a relief pitcher?  Even if it is the toughest one in the game.  I don't see it.

A relief pitcher that has only one year of control. Doesn't make any sense.

I'm going to take the long way around instead of driving straight there.

Um, no.

Yeah, Schwarber and Russell aren't going anywhere.
