Agreed. Getting angry and ranting during Spring Training is sort of like blowing your load during a first kiss. Save it for when it really counts.

Seriously? This is shaping up to be an entertaining year already.

Wow.
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

Bradley should just come out and say, "You know what? I hate spring training, I'm gonna try everything I can do to make sure I don't have to participate in more than a handful of games."

He should go ahead and say that about the regular season while he's at it.

I need to see him miss some real games (it will happen) before I can come up with an excuse for that.

How dare he get the flu!

It isn't the flu, but some flu-like ailment. Probably just hungover.

My money is on vaginitis. I wonder if he bumped into Prior on his way out of San Diego?

He kind of did:

<i>"Spring is spring," Bradley said. "I had like five at-bats last spring and hit .320 [for the season]. Spring is overrated. I didn't play until the last week. I'm going to hit. That's not a concern. I'm just trying to stay as healthy as possible."</i>

So yeah, pretty much the same thing

To repeat, for us to freak out about Bradley missing games would be like Cleveland fans being shocked and aghast that Kerry Wood is already hurt. Who are you kidding?
That's part of the package: great talent, fragile as a Porcelain Mouse.
I'm not the slightest bit surprised, or even upset.

Say what you want about Dunn, but he suits up for 160 games a year, every year.
Bradley's exciting, he's talented, he's good. I've got no beef with his acquisition.
But from now on, let's be realistic, and just start calling our starting RFer Bradley/Gathright.

ie
SS Theriot
2B Miles/Fontenot
1B Lee
3B Aramis
C Soto
LF Soriano
CF Reed/Fuk
<b>RF Bradley/little Joey Gathright</b>

Stop fucking posting about Dunn. Please, it's ultra mega annoying and not one other person here wants to read or talk about him. I'm dead, 100% serious, knock it the fuck off. Don't type his name again.
