All Time Best Cubs - Center Field
#1
Onto CF. No one liked my pick of poor Riggs in LF. I think you'll live with my top pick for CF. The rest is probably up for debate.

1. Hack Wilson
2. Bill Lange
3. Andy Pafko
4. Jimmy Ryan
5. Rick Monday

HM. Lou Brock
HM. Bob Dernier

Of course Brock was part of, probably, the worst trade in Cubs history (even if you feel he's overrated). Dernier is in there because he was part of the Daily Double. The Deer and the Ryno were friggin awesome, even if Dernier wasn't really that great.
I got nothin'.

Jerome Walton... for one year was damn good. Then the rest of his career happened.

Rick Monday played for the Cubs in the early 70's. Since then we haven't have a CF that was very good. Of my top 5, everyone but Monday played prior to 1950. So we're looking at half a century of ineptitude in CF.
I got nothin'.

This thing that Andy has been doing has been incredibly enlightening. It's amazing how shitty this franchise has been for so long.

2. bob dernier
3. jerome walton
4. lance johnson
5. sammy sosa
