Man, what a dumb deal. However, it does explain why we never had a chance at getting Roberts: the owner has a man-crush on the guy, and won't let him leave town.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

My first reaction was "Roberts is trying to lock himself up long term in this market? Wouldn't it make more sense for contract rate to rebound?"
Then I saw the numbers.

Wow, he's gotta be the only individual other than pimps and crack dealers who actually wants to be in Baltimore.

Ouch. I kind of like the inner harbor area.
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.

I like Roberts but that is a terrible deal for the O's. No wonder they suck so damn bad.

Ouch. I kind of like the inner harbor area. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> I guess some parts that are attractive to wealthy DC workers are ok, but the majority of Baltimore is like inner city Detroit. |
