I Am Legend
#1
I know I'm late to the party, but I just got around to watching this. I thought it was pretty good. I liked how Will Smith had a routine everyday and it only got broken when his dog had to be put down. It was really slow moving at first, but once Sam chases the deer into the building it picked up and had my interest throughout. I almost cried when Will Smith was crying to that dummy asking it to say hello, that was some sad shit.

Also, did any of you watch the animated shorts that came on the DVD? I thought they were really good.

It was a cool movie... way too much CGI crap though.

That was my biggest complaint. It was horrible CGI too. Should have gone the traditional zombie/28 days later style makeup route on real people instead.

I just watched Hancock, and I rather enjoyed it. I know somebody just said they were disappointed in it, but I thought it was cool.

I was disappointed in it for the same reasons as with I Am Legend. The story was fine. The FX and over-the-top nature of a lot of it all was too much to handle. Could have been a lot better IMO.
