Both portions of this sound like awesome news:
Predators
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Robert Rodriguez, the director voted most likely to be mentioned in the same sentence as Quentin Tarantino, has a bunch of projects in the works--most notably a just-confirmed reboot of the Predator series. It's been rumored for a while, but various sources (including Variety and Ain't It Cool) are reporting confirmation that Rodriguez (El Mariachi, From Dusk Til Dawn, Spy Kids, Sin City, Planet Terror) will helm Predators, which he also wrote (or is writing, who the hell knows). If he can reassemble the dream team of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jesse Ventura, and Carl Weathers, I'll be happy.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

There are few directors with whom I would feel comfortable remaking Predator. Luckily, Rodriguez is one of the them. Also, I hope Machete makes it to the theater, as this would be a great one to catch on the big screen, just like Grindhouse. Danny Trejo is the man.

Machete was funny as a 3-minute preview. Stretched over 90 minutes, though? I'm not so sure.

yeah, but did you see how many titties were packed into that 3 minutes? i don't remember how many, but they came in pairs.
rodriguez is hit or miss for me. i loved the "el mariachi" movies, "the faculty" and "spin city" but the "spy kids" movies and "sharkboy and clobber girl" were brutal.
Wang.

Well, if it's approached in the same manner as Planet Terror, then I think it will be a fun picture.

He directed the Charlie Sheen ones or the Michael J Fox ones?
