Interesting. I didn't know they were doing a sequel.

The computer-generated young version of Jeff Bridges looks freaky. Looking forward to seeing this movie, and checking out the Daft Punk score this week.

The original was great and terrible and I saw it on opening day. I'm going to see this with low expectations and expect to have a good time. I'm a little diappointed that David Warner isn't reprising the role of Sark.

This is one of the only reasons I want to see this movie. I hear they make a cameo too.

I thought the score leaked a while ago somewhere, and so far it's gotten pretty good reviews.

I wanna see this as well, but to this day I still can't make heads or tails of the original.

I don't I have ever actually seen the first one. That and Dune are the two 80's movies I never saw as a kid.

I recently re-watched Dune because I love Lynch and after hating it as a kid, I wanted to give it another try as an adult. I have to say I really enjoyed it, but mostly in a "so bad that it's good" kind of way, not in an "under-appreciated cult classic" kind of way. It's so different from the typical Lynch film in that it tries so hard to be a flashy Hollywood sci-fi epic, but then it's peppered with a weird scene or two and some off-the-wall imagery and dialogue, that it is totally out of place, and the end result is a legendary mess. I still managed to appreciate its awfulness though.

I'll watch pretty much anything with Jeff Bridges in it, unless it's some corny love story. Plus, my lady friend wants to go see it.

You mean your "special lady"?
