Wow, really?.....there are a lot of other guys that have annoyed me much more and sucked much more than Bradley has. Sure, I don't like his slump, and hearing him whining in this particular case doesn't help, but we've had a lot worse and more irritating guys on the team than Bradley.

Who? (that's not a bait, I'm curious)
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Todd Hundley?
Juan Pierre?
Jason Marquis?
LaTroy Hawkins?
Sean Estes?
Jock Jones?
Neifi Perez?
Alex Gonzalez?
Aaron Miles?
Matt Stairs?
Jeromy Burnitz?
Bob Howry?
Neil Cotts?
I'm not saying they all rank ahead of Bradley (he's quickly climbing the ladder in my book), but there are plenty to choose from. And I'm sure I'm forgetting some.

Bradley's on-field performance has little, if anything, to do with why I am disliking him so much so far. Those guys all sucked big time on the field, and I hated them for that reason, but the distaste for Bradley goes beyond that.

You better be quiet, or Milton will hunt you down and kick your ass. On second though, carry on.

I wouldn't call it being surprised, more frustrated than anything. I would be more than willing to overlook the drama if Milton were producing. I don't blame him for all our troubles, but he isn't helping the situation. I do think he has reason to be pissed about the umps, but the timing of this couldn't be worse. I'd rather someone like Lou be the one to raise a stink than any of the players. We have no leadership right now.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->After a big night that included a two-run double and two-run homer, Bradley was asked by the same reporter about breaking out offensively and said, ''It's one game. You already know. You tricked me the other day. I was venting to you a bit, and you made a big article about it. You won't trick me again.
''I understand I made a mistake, and I was talking real reckless. You got me in the heat of the moment, at a time we were in a losing streak, and I wasn't swinging the bat well, and I was frustrated and vented a lot of things I shouldn't have.''<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I really don't mind Uncle Milty. I think he just got off to a bad April and it was magnified because this is his first year on the club, the expectations are high for him and this team, and fan favorite you-know-who was traded to make room for him. I really think he'll be a huge part of our offense from here on out.

I think that's the point. The only thing that makes Milton worth the noise he makes IS his numbers. "Setting his numbers aside" misses the point. If he's hitting, he can be a bonehead. If he's a bonehead, AND he's a problem, then he's got no upside.

Hundley sucked, true, but he was pretty much an asshole too. I'd throw Steve Trachsel in there as well. He fucking bitched about everything, mostly sucked, and took 6 hours to throw a game. I'd throw Kent Mercker's bitching ass in there as well. They were all far more irritating than Bradley has been (so far).

Give me one or two really hot months by Milton, and he'll probably be one of my favorite Cubs again. I'm not ready to give up on him just yet.

That worked with Fuk. But Fuk didn't run his mouth, and make up baseless excuses. I don't know if that would work for Bradley. Then again Edmonds grew on us...
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.
