Get derosa back at all costs

Despite my opposition to the "Derosa is our savior" movement, I would love to get him back. He would have the added advantage of being a type A free agent next year, which would bring some prospects back if we don't sign him.

I'd love to have both him a Woody back. I know it sounds crazy, but that's what I'd want in a perfect world.

i agree with the both of yous. i also think it would be refreshing to hear hendry admit he made a mistake. mistakes happen. the best thing is to admit it, correct it, and move on.

I'd have to say it's nothing like that.

I still believe that this was a move that was put into place because we thought we were 100% going to get Peavy. The trade was for players that were going to be part of the Peavy trade and it freed up a little money so both Peavy and Bradley could be on the same roster. Since we didn't get Peavy, it then makes it look like it's all for a lefty or to afford Bradley. But, without being able to actually know, I almost guarantee the Peavy deal was involved in this trade.

Well, to be fair to the fans, the vast majority of us did not want him to be traded, AND I think the show of support was mostly an attempt to remind Hendry that he made a big mistake, not that we want DeRosa to beat us or anything like that. Although he makes a few decent points, Morrissey doesn't know what he's talking about. I'm sure that if DeRosa had hit a game winning HR against us, the cheers would come to an end.
