I was riding my bike to the game from the loop and got knocked down by a combo of a car getting to close and hail. Our weather blows!

Made it back home and will take a cab to the game late.

The forecast is for the rain to clear out from 2 - 5 so my guess is that they will start the game as quickly as they can.

Fox to get a start at third base.

Have we seen the last of Miles starts? We can only hope.

He should never ever ever ever start against anyone other than a mediocre lefty.

And yeah, the weather has been bipolar today. This morning was nice, followed by rain, followed by a brief clear-up and then more rain. It doesn't look good, but the heavy stuff has ceased for now.

Isn't Fontenot hitting lefties at a 120 pace?

I understand that Fox maybe brutal in the field but the Cubs just can't hand the opposition outs.

Considering the Indians just gave up 30 runs in 3 games to the Brewers, this may be a good series for the Cubs to finally get their sticks going. But then again, this is the Cubs I'm talking about.
I got nothin'.

What does that have to do with Miles only starting against mediocre lefties? I was agreeing with you.

Yeah the Indians have the worst pitching in all of baseball. Of course we start the series off against their one good pitcher.

After yesterday's emotional win, I'd hate for this one to get postponed.

Besides, until Aramis comes back, we're stuck with Font at 3rd most of the time anyway. We have other options at 2b though. When we're healthy again, Font can go back to only facing righties.

Yeah, Fox should start at 3B at least against all lefties. Fontenot is an auto out.

Watching the CSN preshow, I find it odd that DeRosa admits to following the Cubs while Wood says he hasn't followed them hardly at all.

DeRosa says nowhere else he has played even comes close to his time with the Cubs. Wonder how Indians fans feel about that
