Reed Johnson...
#1
I'm not really down with Reed Johnson leading off--even if it's against lefties. Trust me, I love his high energy, but he doesn't seem to do well after the platoon leadoff hitter.

Am I wrong?

Sorry to be a Debby Downer...

I agree. I'd prefer Reed bat 7th or 8th and leadoff Theriot w/ Bradley batting 2nd.

Is there anybody that you're happy with leading off?

Also, Butch is Debbie Downer.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

Not sure if that was directed at me or not, but yes, I am quite happy with Theriot or Fukudome leading off.

Reed seems to have lost it. I think I'd prefer Fuld at this point.

I can't say I'd be pissed if Reed was replaced by Fuld, but I don't think it would be a good thing. Fuld was great for the 4 or 5 games he played but take a look at his minor league numbers and you'll realize he can't keep it up.

Reed has been swinging at everything lately. What happened to his patient approach?
