Cubs vs. Cardinals 7/12/09 Game 2

Oh, joy--it's Morgan, Miller and Phillips.
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.

Theriot is French for idiot.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

Now that Madden has retired, Frank Calliendo ought to do Morgan as his mainstay. He's Captain Obvious--"You have to get the ball down, especially if you're Wells..you cannot pitch up...and this pitch is up..and he rips it over the left center field wall..now the pitch is up, pretty much in the middle of the plate.....they wanted it low and away, of course, but you're going to miss alot of spots throughout the ballgame...good job there by Ludwick to make him play (sic), first pitch."

Jon Miller informs us that Ramirez is back now.

After Molina got all pissy, I wish Wells had gone up and in again.

I guess only position players are "actual hitters."

Well, Fox is nice and loose. Nice hat.

That's fucking incredible--you can knock a throw down with your hand (a stupid move by a pitcher with his throwing hand, by the way) and not be called for interference.

Those moustaches are absolutely awful.

My guess is that most of you are too young to remember "the Mustache Gang" early 70s Oakland A's.

Morgan is an absolute buffoon.

What's awful is listening to the analyst attempt to explain the rules to the play by play man in utter futility.

Not I. I'm hoping they all go for "The Rollie."

He still has that sweet stache too. He was on the coaching staff at the Future's Game tonight on ESPN 2.
