Marmol sucks, but I'm just as angry at Lou as I am Marmol. Isn't the Phillies lineup the exact kind of reason the Cubs traded for another lefty? Why wasn't Grabow brought in when there were 2 guys on, or at worst, the bases loaded before the Marmol bases loaded walk?

Fucking thank you. Three really good LH hitters coming up and you don't have Marshall or Grabow even warming up? Marmol has been doing this shit all season -- it's not like anyone was surprised that he loaded the bases.

Marmol has demonstrated he can't get the ball over the plate with any consistency this season. It looks like he has no clue. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if he gets a wake up call and is sent to Iowa until September. Put Gaub in his place.

I don't know what his option situation is, but it's getting to the point where he might actually benefit from a demotion to get himself right mechanically. And before anyone says that he's had tons of success the past few seasons, and it might screw with his head, well then, if he is so mentally fragile, maybe professional baseball isn't for him.
