Dodgers are toast.

I hate that the Phillies are going to be National League champs for the second season in a row. I'm not a Dodgers fan either, but damn. I just want to enjoy it once. Really -- I'm not greedy.

I guess I have to root for a Phillies/Angels series because I'll have to root for the Phillies if they're playing the Yanks. But the Angels just won it all recently, too.

Damn, we suck ass.

I wouldn't be upset if the Yanks were to win it all. I'd be happy for Girardi, even though he's made some dumbass moves so far in this series, and is still learning on the job.

I like Girardi, but do they really need a 27th title?

I haven't given up hope for seeing Torre stick it to the Yankees.

Well, that's the thing. Will one more Yankees WS trophy significantly change the baseball landscape or cause me any pain? Nope. I don't have any emotional attachment to the other teams still out there either, so good for Girardi if he can win. Maybe one day he can bring some of that experience back home with him and win something here too.

I was pulling for the Dodgers just because I can't stand the Phillies, but damn.....that was harsh.
