Bud was approached by owners group wanting to extend his contract and he declined so it looks like Bud will be done in 2012.

He still be around in 2011 to deal with the next contract negotiations with MLB players union.

I saw his interview with Costas a couple weeks ago on MLB network. He said he's definitely going to be done and then he wants to teach sports history classes at a college or something along those lines.
