Good suggestion. He would kill in that role.

Holy shit BT, that is an awesome idea. He was my favorite character from that show and would be awesome.
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

I don't think Martin Short or Rick Moranis are funny.

that shit's still funny as hell every time i see it

"I don't swim". That kills me. The skit is on Youtube but it's shit quality.

I'm not really a strong swimmer. And he's got those floaties on his arms. Very very funny.

I'm with you on that. Short had a few funny moments on SNL a few decades ago, but he hasn't made me laugh in a long time. As far as Moranis, I thought the McKenzies were pretty funny when I was a kid, but not so much anymore.
I could get on board with the Murray idea, however. I'd like him better than Carrell.

Steve Martin hasn't made me laugh in a long time. That doesn't mean he wasn't freaking hilarious when he was doing comedies in his prime.

Short was hilarious in his SCTV days. I wasn't as much of fan when he moved to SNL. Glick was awesome as well. I can see how Short is annoying to some, but he isn't to me.

i was just teasing about moranis by the way, i was just commenting about how he was kind of popular for a while and then disappeared. short annoys me more often than not these days but he was pretty funny up to about the 3 amigos point and again, that swimming skit is probably the best thing he's ever done.

I thought Short was pretty funny in Three Amigos, and I'm pretty much the only guy on the planet who didn't hate "Pure Luck".
He also did pretty good physical comedy in "Inner Space".

i love 3 amigos, it's been a long time but i remember it being funny. i base most of my annoyances in times past then with his over the top talk show interviews where he's just so obviously trying to be funny. i don't really remember much else, filmwise
