If Nady starts the year on the DL, we will not have a power bat on the bench. Hoffpauir maybe, but he would be it.

Exactly, and who knows, by the time he's ready to contribute, someone else will likely get injured.

I don't see this as a major problem. Everyone knew Nady wouldn't be at 100% until midseason, at the earliest.

My biggest concern is still our pitching.

I noticed Lou is possibly only going to take 11 pitchers. That might help if Nady can't play good defense, and we need a Fuld type for the late innings.

With us having so many long guys in the bullpen, this could work.
