Yeah, it is. So let me do my annual "tip my hat" to Kid for his work at bringing this to the forum.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

Wait, so he does have some experience starting prior to 2009?

I thought Cashner was strictly a reliever at TCU.

Way too early statement: Casey Coleman to replace Ted Lilly next year, and be the next Randy Wells-like surprise. As much of a surprise as a former Cubs minor league pitcher of the year can be, anyway. He's not really thought of very well as a Cubs prospect - generally far behind Cashner, Jackson, and Carpenter in the pitching pantheon.

But those guys are penciled in for life after 2012.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

The three strikeouts is extremely surprising. He only struck out 53 times in a little over 500 plate appearances last year. I wonder if the Cubs are trying to get him to swing for more power now. I can't count the number of time's I've defended his defense, but I've defended it based on what everyone that has watched him for an extended time have said. Two errors 10 games into the season isn't anything to worry about though.

Hung-Wen Chen and Su-Min Jung pitching well.

Also, pretty sad John Koronka(yes, I know he's not in our organization anymore) and David Patton each spent a fair amount of time on our team and are in AA and A.
