My liking of this team has nothing to do with the actual results of the games, it was just a statement that I like the personality of the team. Win or lose, I've been able to watch the games without much angst.

I'd rather hate the players and love the team than love the players and hate the team.

I'm kind of where Ruby is, but still have found very little joy in watching this team. It seems that the few games that I've been able to sit down and actually watch (mostly night games) so far have been losses, so it is a little surprising to me that I don't hate them a lot more. Anyway, it doesn't change the fact that I expect nothing from them and am not as emotionally involved with each win or loss as I once was. It's kind of a relief to not get all that worked up about them as I used to.

I'm mindful of the fact that this is just the beginning of the transition from the Tribune era to the Ricketts era. There's a lot to fix and my expectations are measured. As long as I feel good about the direction of the organization, I'm not really gonna sweat the outcome of 2010. Right now for me, the biggest question marks are the futures of Hendry and Piniella.

Maybe I'm actually apathetic.

It seems like we're back to not being able to score unless we're hitting homers. And this team doesn't have enough pop to score consistently via the homer.

The thing that is so frustrating is that our lineup is performing pretty well except for our two most important hitters. Lee and Ramirez are killing us, plain and simple. If they were just have average years right now we would be over .500, but with them both being terrible right now they are killing us.

We keep saying they are going to come around and I believe they will, but how long do we wait? I know it is only 5 weeks into the season and we still have 130 games left, but it is really hard watching Amarmis come up and know he isn't going to come through

Who the hell knows what's going on with Ramirez...but isn't DLee traditionally bad in April and May?

He's better in the heat. We need more white players. Nady should probably play more 1st while it's cold.
