If you are a fan of British comedy, the Office, and Christophher Guest style mockumentaries, then I would highly recommend this movie. It also helps to be a bit cynical about politics, as this film skewers both Washington culture and the mainstream media. I found myself giggling constantly at the non-stop inside jokes, pop-culture references and quick wit of the writers and the cast (I assume a great deal was improv'ed) who seem born for these roles. My only complaint is that the plot and resolution appeared overly simplistic, but maybe that was the point. So much in Washington is made out of nothing by bored journalists and clueless career politicians just looking to stir things up.

Anyway, with a slightly more original ending, this move would earn 4.5 stars in my book. Right now 4/5 seems about right.
