I will never have a heart attack. I give them.

He's come full circle.

Sounds like there is an unusual explanation for the cause of the heart attack. Supposedly, he panicked and threw himself into cardiac arrest after he heard ticking under the desk of his Assistant to the Traveling Secretary and thought it was a bomb. Witnesses say his last words were "Heartbreaker, brewbaker".

If this is a joke I don't get it. If it's not, I still don't get it.

I thought it may have been all those calzones Big Stein was eating everyday.

A guy with Alzheimers might not even know to tell someone he's having a heart attack.

I had nothing but respect for Steinbrenner and would have loved to have him as an owner. He wanted to win above all else. I don't see how that's a bad thing.

Same here. I wish Ricketts had a little more of Stein in him.

He may still. I gave Ricketts a pass this year, because it's year one and the team was pretty much in place. This next season is crucial though. They, at the very least, need to prove that they have a game plan, a direction, a blue print. I'm not necessarily demanding a World series next year, but at least some progress towards one in the near future.

Pretty much how I'm looking at it as well, but every once in a while my impatience takes over. I'm willing to go through some down years, but it would be nice to have some idea, like you said, of what the actual plan is.
