Considering that Baltimore would have had one of the first cracks at Shepherd after he was released by Boston, you might wonder what changed for them over 4 days.

Robel Garcia is still hitting the ball well in his move up to Iowa and has seem some limited duty around the diamond (but mainly playing 3B). I wonder if they'll try him out in the outfield before long.

He isn't a starter in the big leagues, but could definitely be a valuable bat off the bench as a switch hitter w/power that should be able to handle velocity.

So I'm guessing Ian Happ is going to be an untouchable to improve this season?  Seems like he's really getting his head straight at Iowa and they want to keep him on that pace.

Finally some progress for Little.

Alzolay continues his strong work. Wouldn't be surprised to see him up later this summer and contributing to our pen if there's room for him.

Lange finally with a great start and this Robel Garcia guy over in Iowa has been mashing.  7 HRs in his last 13 games.  Overslot HS guy Brennen Davis has also shown quite a bit of power.

It's too bad they will all be traded for RPs.

So Happ is striking out at a 32% clip and only slugging .418 down in AAA. BA is an impressive .228 (at least his OBP is .359).

Should have traded him during the offseason.

Looks like Danny Hultzen is in Iowa. Starting to think he'll be a call up depending upon on he reacts to being sent out there multiple days in a row.  Would be a good story if he ends up contributing.
