Quote:Anything new on C.J. Edwards? It's been about three months since he last took the mound.
He still in rehab in Arizona. According to his twitter, no pain in shoulder and throwing freely.

Ho hum. HR Bryant.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

My old man's at the game. He went last night too.

Like I said, slumping.

Didn't the FO say they aren't bringing Bryant up this year?
How high does his OPS have to climb before they backtrack?

Arodys Vizcaino is shitting the bed in Iowa.
Jorge Soler is catching up to lost time in a big way - 2-4, HR, 2 RBI, BB today. Russell has his first hits as a Smokie. He went 2-5 today. Hopefully that monkey is now off his back.

I wonder if Soler could be with the big club next year.

Quote:I wonder if Soler could be with the big club next year. Probably not out of Spring Training, but if he stays healthy and plays well, there's probably a good chance. Free agency isn't really a consideration for him as he's signed through 2020 regardless of when he gets called up, so I assume they'll call him up as soon as they think he's ready.

Gotta love this stat (among many others) from the left-handed hitting Schwarber:
In K.C. vs. left: .364 vs. right: 364
I just want to drink beer and play atari
