I don't recall any of you owning a Wii U, but Nintendo's first shooter - Splatoon - came out yesterday, and it's quite awesome. Hoping DLC brings in some extra content, but it throws the shooter genre for quite a loop.

Battlefield 1 is available to play for 10 hours starting today if you're an Origin Access member. If not you can download it Friday and early access starts the 17th if you bought the middle tier version. If you buy basic you can start playing on the 20th.

I played the shit out of BF2 back in the day, but they kind of lost me after that. I like my shooters a bit more fast-paced with smaller maps. With that said, I just got Gears of War 4 and it's pretty good.

I'll be picking it up in a couple weeks with my next next paycheck. I played the shit out of the beta.
Stoked to play Gears at my buddies house this weekend. I loved the original trilogy (Judgement was kinda shitty).
I've been playing a ton of Overwatch over the past week or so. The Halloween update is do good.

I can't stop playing Witcher 3, It's probably one of the best games I've ever played. If anyone who played it enjoyed the gwent component of it, they are about to have an open beta of a stand alone game of it on October 25 which looks similar to Hearthstone.

I really need to get back to that game. I played a fair amount when it first came out, then got distracted by another game and never finished it (story of my life). So there must be quite a bit of stuff to do besides the story? I think I stuck pretty close to the linear stuff and haven't really explored the open world side of it.
I figured out how to stream PC games to my iPad with Nvidia Game Stream, so this would be a good one for that since it has nice controller support. Maybe I'll dive back into it this weekend.

one of my favourite parts of the games is going off the beaten track and exploring, especially finding all the gwent cards, playing the merchants for them etc. Also the add ons are massive games in themselves, I especially enjoyed Blood and Wine add on. I've lost about 6 months to the game now.

I LOVE Skyrim, but for some reason I can't get into the Witcher. It may be more suited to a controller and that might be the problem. It looks great and the story is interesting, but I've only put like 6 hours into it.

I installed and tried to play Witcher 2 on the PC last week and didn't like the controls of it via the mouse. I guess I'm just used to a controller on the XBox.
Swear words, Geralt using his pork sword on different women, boobies, violence, massive world to explore, good storyline, interesting characters, worthwhile add ons.
Better off playing on the Xbox or PlayStation though.
