It's just GOT to be a coincidence that Pinella, Baker, Baylor, Riggleman, Trebelhorn, and Lefebvre all were complete morons who didn't know half as much as the guys on this board. Or as much as every genius who calls in to the Score every day. The Cubs just haven't hired the right guy yet. Clearly, a good manager would know how to turn the fact that our best hitter is "slugging" .272 into a mere footnote.

I guess we will agree to disagree on the idea that there is only one question in this thread, but if I'm only allowed to answer that one question, I'll hedge by saying that while I wouldn't be crushed if Lou got fired, I think "managerial decisions" are pretty far down the list of problems with this team, well after "corner men hitting like women" and "bullpen pitching underhanded".
