Zambrano in all likelihood is going to have to pitch in 5 days, as it sounds like Gorz may have been hurt tonight. My guess is that they are pitching him to get him ready.

They don't have to rush him, at least not for Gorzelanny's next start. With the off day on Monday, they could push him back or skip a start.

It just doesn't fit what they said they were going to do. They said they were moving him to long relief in order to stretch him out to get him back to the rotation in short order. Instead, they've pitched him in short relief in the 2 games since they announced that.
