The Marlins sure have their share of superstar/problem-child types. (Miggy Cabrera, now Hanley).
The thing is, even though it pains me to say it, a manager has often got to use a double-standard. It sucks. It's not fair. But life is not fair.
Hanley Ramirez is the single most valuable Marlin by a country mile. He's probably one of the 5 most valuable players in MLB (Mauer, Pujols, Utley...who else?).
I get the feeling that he's a little bitch. But, you know, most superstars are not in the mold of Ryno/Maddux. They usually expect and demand special treatment. As I said, it kind of sucks.
And if Hanley truly dogging it, then he has to be called out. But if it's borderline, I don't know.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
