And I was just noting that all of you called me crazy for wanting to rid ourselves of Z's contract. You argued that many teams would take it off our hands but it would be a mistake to do so. Dude, this argument makes zero sense. You are saying that since we can't trade Z, and get some assets back, without paying 50 percent of his salary, the ONLY choice is to pay 100 percent of his salary, and get nothing back.
And how does showing a thread in which you advocate CUTTING Soriano and Fuk, somehow justify your point, when both have been contributors this year?

I was arguing releasing them and allowing other teams the ability to take on their salaries for nothing. I was not saying we should cut them and continue to pay their salary. Go back and read the thread for context.
