Cubs should have enough talent but aren't winning nor are they showing signs that they can win on a regular basis.
They have dug themselves into a sizable hole by losing against bad teams.
From today's Tribune:

They were 15-20 in that stretch, with playoff teams Colorado and Philadelphia the next two opponents.
Even more troubling is that the Cubs are 9-12 against Central Division teams. Take out Milwaukee, and it's 4-11 against the division."</i>
Plenty of season remains go but what has this team done to make anyone believe that they can win, regularly, against good teams?
