Sorry Butch, but this argument doesn't cut it. How do any law enforcement officers EVER know ANYONE they pull over/approach/chase down is a harmless knucklehead? My friend's dad was a cop in Chicago, and he pulled a guy over for a broken taillight. The dipshit behind the wheel proceeded to gun down and kill both my friend's dad and his partner. Now, because this outcome is POSSIBLE (just as the Gamboa outcome is possible), you don't really think a cop should be able to taze every person he pulls over for any infraction, do you?
