I honestly don't think anyone would have a problem with Theriot in the lineup if he was our 2nd baseman. I think people have a problem with him at SS because of his limited range and arm. Like you Tom, at second base I believe he would be just fine....then we would also have a true SS to backup Castro or give him a day off.
If Castro keeps hitting like he is I see no reason the Cubs wouldn't call him up in June.
