So the fact that I said I wouldn't put Z in the pen doesn't matter, just the fact that I'm not freaking out about it to the proper degree, makes me pro-management?

No, being pro-management on every issue makes you pro-management. That's the way it's always been buckeroo.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Explain how I'm Pro-management on this? Is saying management is not a bunch of drooling fucking morons the same thing as being pro-management?
I'll say this again, so maybe you will understand, I don't think this is the right move. I simply don't think it's as indefensible as everyone on here is making it.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Trying for even one second to rationalize it is indefensible.
And for the record, I generally agree with you that things get blown way out of proportion here, but this not one of those times. Not even close.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
So arguing that it's possible that management has an actual reason for what they are doing (regardless if I agree with that reason) is not only "pro-management", but it's indefensible?
it's fairly easy to rationalize it Ruby.
-Moving Silva takes our (current) best starter out of the rotation.
-Moving Gorz make our primary setup man a lefty (Marshall), AND does absolutely nothing to change our late inning bullpen, since Marshall (who let up 2 runs in the 8th yesterday, by the way) is already in the bullpen.
Now you can think that either of these scenarios is preferable to moving Zambrano (and I'd probably favor moving Gorz), and that's fine, but to act as if the choice is so clearly black and white that anyone who sees it differently is brain dead, is absurd. To argue that it's simply inarguable, is absurd. And to argue that anyone who points out these rationalizations is "pro-management", is absurd.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You being pro-management is represented by your body of work, this instance is merely a blip on your pro-management radar.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I see. Well, in the future I will try to take the brave sports message board position that the manager/gm is wrong. I know that opinion is tough to find.

I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.
