Everything I've heard suggests his defense is amazing, but I hope his defense really does pan out. I remember hearing praises for Cedeno's defense, and he was terrible and consistently over threw Lee at first.

Cedeno was known for his ability to make amazing defensive plays.
His defensive reputation was built on his ability to make these impossible plays. Unfortunately, he was as likely to make an impossible play as flub a routine grounder.
