That's how I feel. Lou's already said Nady isn't going to be playing much early on in the year, and it's no guarantee his arm's 100% anytime soon. If we had a lot of good defenders on the rest of the field, I wouldn't mind so much.
Additionally, I think Fukudome's a bit underrated by most Cubs fans. His contract, amazing Opening Day in 2008, and all of the hype surrounding him makes it disappointing he's not like an .850+ OPS type of hitter, but he still gets on base at a high clip and is one of the best defensive right fielders in baseball. We have many, many bigger problems than him.
