Since Santo and Billy were good friends, played almost their entire careers together side-by-side (including coming up through the minors together), and were roughly equivalent in terms of on-the-field value, why not do a statue where they're <i>both</i> represented?
Most statues I've seen involve a man on a horse, so I don't see why 2 guys would be a problem.
And btw, just because the writers haven't properly rated Santo yet, doesn't mean that he wasn't as good as Billy. He made 9 All-Star teams (Billy-6), and while Billy did flashier things like win 2 batting titles, Santo had huge OBP years, and won 5 Gold Gloves at third.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
