That's kind of a flawed argument, BT. If, as you assert, Bradley did not cost the Cubs any ballgames, then why <i>did</i> Jim trade him? To throw a bone to the small sliver of racist fans? To promote sweet harmony in the clubhouse?

His lack of production and his fragility were disappointments and surely hurt his cause but I'm with Ace. They were not the reason we ate that contract. No one looked at his numbers and decided we'd be better off with Carlos fucking Silva on the roster.

Milton Bradley's name will be mentioned on Jim Hendry's goddam headstone.
