That's probably it. When you're a fringe AAAA guy like Parisi, you probably don'y give a damn about who's the favorite in the division. All you want to do is to be in the big leagues.
In fact, if I were in his position, I'd want to be on the <i>worst</i> possible team, not a contender like the Cubs. He'd have a much better chance of making the Royals or the Nats than the Cubs or Tards.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
