Pretty well crafted. I ended up with a few questions as well, but that's OK.

My biggest question *spoiler* is where does the Jess that looks at the carnage and gets in the cab come from? She appears there -- but from where?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I think she did. Am I wrong, or is the Jess corpse on the street the one the current Jess killed, the one that was in the trunk?

The one that was in the trunk was zipped up in a big duffel bag.

just watched the end again. The corpse on the street is wearing the same floral dress that the murdered version of Jess was wearing. The Killer version of Jess is wearing a white T shirt. So, the corpse on the street was the murdered Jess (you can also see the trunk is open as the car is upside down), and the killer jess is the one the cabbie takes.
