That's preposterous. Just because the two movies are about the mafia, and are done in the same "style" doesn't mean he shouldn't have done the movie. Casino is a great film, not the masterpiece that goodfellas is, but still one of my favorite movies and extremely well made and acted. I think Scorsese's incredibly overrated post "King Of Comedy." "Goodfellas," "Gangs of New York" and "The Departed" were decent." "Casino" wasn't bad but it was more of the same, and Joe Pesce is just awful. Once was enough.
