I'm all over the place with this team. I still see us being better than last year regardless, but if it doesn't include a title, it's not anywhere close to good enough.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I'd like to think that we can't string together another unbroken chain of bad luck, shit-headedness and suckitude like last season. But as far as I'm concerned, we can not go to the post-season and it still <i>could</i> be good enough.

I won't accept anything other than a title when it's been over 100 years. 08 was every bit as much of a failure as 09.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
If you told me right now that my choices for 2010 were:
(1) Guaranteed World Series appearance and loss, or
(2) Take your chances with whatever is going to happen for this team
I'd take number 1 without hesitation. Is that bad?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
For me it would be the worst possible and most heartbreaking scenario. I never talk about 1945. I always talk about 1908.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
There are 65 year olds who've never even seen the Cubs in a World Series. That's fucked up. I'll take the World Series.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Me too. Sure it would suck to make it there and lose but it would be a fun ride on the way there.
.....and 2008 was a million times more fun as a fan than 2009.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
2008 was way worse on me than 2009. Not even close at all. 2008 made me hate the team, 2009 made me relax a little bit.
