Did anyone ever think that this would be a "fun" season? Did anyone actually look at our roster stacked next to teams like the Phillies and Yankees and say, "Yea, we're right there."

You mean the roster that really wasn't too different from a team that won 97 games 2 years ago? Injuries and about everybody outside of Lee and Lilly performing worse than expected killed this team last year. And still, they won 83 games with most everything going wrong. We're not in the AL East. We're not in the NL East. If you get in, you have a chance.
