Rafael Furcal
Hanley Ramirez
Marco Scutaro
Troy Tulowitzki
Yunel Escobar
Jason Bartlett
Erick Aybar
Elvis Andrus

That's ten shortstops out of 30 starting shortstops. Theriot is average and there's nothing wrong with average.
