I played in a league last year with weekly rosters, and I wasn't a huge fan of it. If you miss setting your roster before the week starts, you're screwed for the whole week. I thought we had compromised by setting up the rosters with more position players an fewer bench spots so that you didn't have to change them everyday last season?

Honestly, it's more the pitcher stuff that kills me. I don't have the time (and in all probability the ability) to manage a large roster of pitchers that need to be inserted or taken out of the lineup.
when I say weekly transactions, I mean we draft a team of 23 guys, and all 23 are ALWAYS active. There is no setting lineups, so we don't draft 12 pitchers to rotate on a daily basis. The weekly transactions are weekly, as opposed to daily, changes to your 23 man roster. That is the mentality of being in the same kind of league for 20 years, I don't have the mental wherewithal to plan ahead. I simply have to draft 9 pitchers, let them start their normal turns, and once a week make sure they are all healthy.

So, you're saying you don't really like fantasy baseball?
I mean, you look at your team, you see the little "PP" next to their name and you move them off the bench. It takes 30 seconds...how difficult is that? If you have more time one day, then you do a little research and find someone to replace Crappy McGee.
Colorado, I say we take this league to the next level. I want real time roster changes. You have to move players between batting and fielding spots between innings and you can only move relievers off the bench if they are actually in the bullpen warming up. Daily roster moves are for half ass fans.
