Can you say Keystone Kops?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Exact same thing with <i>Abreu</i> and Alf. You're giving up runs defensively, but gaining back more with the bat.
Only since Dunn is a more productive hitter than Abreu, you get more offense back with him.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I didn't know Abreu had slipped that far defensively. Now that I know, I'll pass on him as well.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
And if Bradley signs elsewhere?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Truthfully, Ace? I'd say that you have pointed out something: <!--coloro:#8B0000--><!--/coloro-->there is close to a 100% chance that we sign Bradley<!--colorc-->
<!--/colorc-->.
Think about it...even among Jim's ol' boy network of scouts, they're likely well-aware that Abreu is a bad option. It seems painfully clear.
Ibanez is gone. And they detest Dunn because...
well, there's no good reason, but all <!--coloro:#0000FF--><!--/coloro-->scout>sabermetric<!--colorc-->
<!--/colorc--> types hate his ass.
That leaves only one option, and when there's only one option, Jimbo almost always gets his man.
I see a Bradley signing within 3-4 days. Book it.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
