No. I truly believed we were out of it.
But tom and quite a few others in this thread keep mentioning that we had <i>a chance</i>, so I thought perhaps I'd go along with what the prevailing feeling was.
This is totally off topic, but you know who I think is the most important person in the entire Cub organization right now? Alfonso Soriano.
If he's truly done, and last year, he looked fucking hideous, we are in deep trouble, as a team.
If, however, he was injured, and the combo of his pride and a healthy body make him a good player once again, that will be a huge thing for us.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
